TSM announced today the roster for their professional VALORANT team which consists of many CS: GO pros.
TSM’s VALORANT team members are:
- Support/IGL: James “hazed” Cobb
- Rifler: Taylor “drone” Johnson
- Rifler: Matthew “WARDELL” Yu
- Rifler: Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik
- Support: Stephen “reltuC” Cutler
Taylor “tailored” Broomall will be the head coach of the team. His vast experience as a coach, manager, and analyst for organizations like Team Boxr, Splyce, and Team Envy will definitely come in handy for the newly formed team.
“We’re thrilled to be working together with such an iconic organization,” TSM said. “Deciding to move on from CS:GO to VALORANT was a hard decision to make, but with a prestigious organization like TSM backing you, it makes the whole thing way more exciting.”
Both WARDELL and Subroza played competitive Counter-Strike with Team Orgless. After the team disbanded in April they both played for Ghost Gaming which also disbanded in June 2019.
Drone has played two years for Slyce before moving to Team Envy for a short period in 2018 and 2019.
Hazed and Cutler are the veterans on the team with years of experience that will help shape up the team and lead the younger team members.
VALORANT and CS:GO are very in playstyle especially when it comes to requiring high aiming skills, the CS:GO pros should be able to transfer their skills to VALORANT and compete competitively. VALORANT is set to be officially released on June 2.
