A new leak confirmed the rumors that Overwatch will be available on the Nintendo Switch, and it will be released next month.

One of Nintendo Direct’s announcement has been leaked and Kotaku confirmed the rumors.

The first leak was Amazon accidentally publicly revealing an official Overwatch switch case.

Today, on RestEra a post leaked the upcoming Nintendo Switch game releases, and Overwatch is among them. Date of release will be on October 18 (October 15 in North America.)

Blizzard’s popular game was launched in May of 2016 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, it’s only normal for Blizzard to expand their player base to reach another gaming platform.

“We also expect lots more Overwatch news at this year’s BlizzCon in November,” Kotaku reported.

Blizzard has been surprising the Overwatch community with a lot of new content after going stale for quite a while. The new role queue system is one of the most important changes Blizzard has made, especially for the competitive game mode and Overwatch League, eliminating the dominate goats meta, and keeping the game refreshing for the player base.
