Overwatch League team Chengdu Hunters has made changes to their coaching staff.

The professional Overwatch team announced on its Weibo account the departure of head coach Wu “Dokkaebi” Xiuqing and taking his spot will be Murong Chen, who was previously part of the team on a trial period.

Chen will be one of the head coaches on Chengdu Hunters working alongside Chang “Ray” Chia-Hua till the end of the current season.

Chen was a semi-professional Hearthstone player before he moved to Overwatch becoming one of the first Chinese commentators. He then expanded on his skill for analysis with some of the biggest Overwatch organizations in China, like Lucky Future and Flag Gaming, and had joined the Overwatch League with a respectable reputation in the scene.

Chen has acquired experience coaching the team during his trial period leading them to three consecutive wins, and defeating some of the best teams, like Seoul Dynasty and New York Excelsior.

Chengdu Hunters will look to improve their performance in the League with the new coaching staff.
