League of Legends Patch 10.5, Ornn Nerfed, Sona Reverted, More Jungle Changes
Category: League of Legends, Date: 25/Feb/2020

League of Legends Patch 10.5 is right around the corner, and it holds changes to Ornn, Sona, Spellthief’s items, and jungle pool changes.
The new patch focuses on fixing the issues on top lane, hence nerfs to oppressive champions like Ornn, Spellthief’s changes, and buffs to bruiser items.
Ornn has been a powerhouse for a while now, a tank capable of dealing an insane amount of damage, even one-shot the enemy champion. Ornn also gives his team an advantage in late game due to allowing them to upgrade their items.
It’s still unknown what will Riot Game’s approach to tuning down Ornn’s oppressive capabilities but the patch will be tackling that issue.

Spellthief’s new passive has also enabled players to play support characters top lane such as Sona and Soraka. In patch 10.5 the gold passive will now only be generated when there’s an ally nearby. This will prohibit support characters from playing solo top and instead return to bot lane.
Patch 10.5 will also hold buffs to Blade of the Ruined King, Titanic and Ravenous Hydra, and Turret plates for melee champions.
Sona’s nerfs in patch 10.4 will be reverted, while adding restrictions to Spellthief’s edge. Sona’s nerfs managed to end her dominance in top lane but at the cost of the champion overall, making her much weaker as a support in bot lane.
Riot is adding more jungle buffs for a select few champions, with Mordekaiser and Darius receiving buffs.
Kayn, Graves, Lissandra, Neeko, Twisted Fate, Sivir, Kai’Sa, Alistar, and item Boots of Swiftness are receiving buffs.
Sett, Rammus, Amumu, Blitzcrank, Bard, and Boots of Mobility are receiving nerfs.
