Rumors have been circulating around that Resident Evil 3 Remake is in the making, and the appearance of the game’s cover art on the PlayStation Network confirms it.
The rumors started a couple of weeks ago, stating that Capcom is working on Resident Evil 3. Gamstat, which tracks PlayStation stats revealed the addition of the art on the official PlayStation site.
The cover shows Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis, all looking differently. The appearance of Nemesis, the evil boss of the game, reveals that he will be making a comeback in the survival horror game, Resident Evil 3 Remake, he was part of the original game of 1999.
A month ago, YouTuber SpawnWave, claimed that he has credible reports that a remake was in development and will be launched in 2020.
The game is expected to be announced by Capcom at the upcoming Game Awards show on December 12. The leak of the art will definitely push Capcom to announce the new game as soon as possible.
Capcom has also been working on Project Resistance, now known as Resident Evil: Resistance, a four against one multiplayer game.
