Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PC last November, a year after its initial launch. The game was available on both the Rockstar Games launcher and Epic Games Store.
According to a report by SuperData, Red Dead Redemption 2 sold 408,000 units during its first month on the Epic Store. In comparison to Borderlands 3 which launched in the same store, those numbers seem a bit low as Borderlands 3 managed to sell 1.78 million units.
Obviously, we have to keep in mind that Red Dead Redemption 2 was also available on the Rockstar Launcher, and the fact that the game has been available on other platforms for a year.
Red Dead Redemption 2 didn’t make into the top 10 games on PC for November, ranked by digital sales. League of legends was ranked number 1.
408,000 units sold is not a small number at all, but it’s much lower than what the game’s sales were expected.
