Halo 3: ODST the next installment of Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to PC on September 22.

This is the fifth installment just one game away from completion on PC, it comes out exactly 11 years after the game was originally released on Xbox 360 back on September 22, 2009.

ODST is a side-story set between events from the original Halo trilogy, told from the perspectives of a group of Orbital Shock Drop Troopers who arrive in New Mombasa just after the Master Chief’s brief visit to Earth in Halo 2. Players explore the ruined city of New Mombasa to discover what happened to their missing teammates in the midst of an alien invasion.

ODST became the top-selling Xbox 360 game upon release, the game was perceived positively by players and critics.

On Xbox One, ODST’s full campaign was added to the collection in 2015, but it hasn’t included Firefight. Earlier this summer, 343 announced that ODST Firefight would be added to both versions of the collection. The game will also support more customization options than the original according to early public testing.

The Master Chief collection can be purchased and downloaded via Steam and the official Xbox website, it costs $39.99.

There are only two installments left in the collection: Reach and Halo 4, official launch date has yet to be announced.
