Faze Clan pro Fortnite player, Jarvis “Jarvis” Kaye has been banned permanently by Epic Games after posting videos of himself using an aimbot cheat on the popular game Fortnite.
The 17-year-old YouTuber addressed his fans on his channel in regards to the lifetime ban and expressed how much of an impact the game had on his life.
Jarvis admitted to his mistakes and apologized for them, and added that he should have paid more attention to Fortnite’s community rules and its term of service.
“All I was thinking about while making those videos is how entertaining and, like, interesting these videos would be for you guys to watch. It didn’t even cross my mind I could be banned for life from Fortnite for this,” Jarvis said.
Any use of a cheat method is strictly forbidden under the game’s rules, the punishment of being caught is either termination of the account or a lifetime ban from the game.
Jarvis broke down in tears as he apologized to the game developers for his mistake, asking them to reconsider the lifetime ban.
I’m going to take accountability for my actions and I understand completely why this has happened, I just wish I had known how severe the consequences were at the time and I would have never thought about doing it. I love all of you who still support me, this is not the end.— FaZe Jarvis (@liljarviss) November 3, 2019
