The rumors that a remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is under development might actually be true after an accidental leak from a rating agency.

A product listing of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 appeared on the Korean Rating Board, giving Call of Duty fans hopes that Activision could possibly be working on a remastered version of their favorite game.

South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) appear to have rated a game titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered on February 26, 2020. It also listed Blizzard Entertainment as the publisher.

It seems there’s only a Campain in the leak, which would definitely disappoint fans that prefer a full remaster of the game, Special Ops and Multiplayer included.

Although the listing stated Campain, the possibility that the rating of the Campain and Multiplayer versions of the games were published separately remains a possibility.

This leak still doesn’t fully confirm that a Remaster of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is in the making, there have been many rumors over the years that suggested a remastered version is in the making.
