A TikTok video went viral and sparked controversy when the clip showcased the groom playing the mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) while at his own wedding.
The groom can be seen holding his mobile phone too occupied with playing PUBG rather than enjoy and celebrate his own wedding. His bride takes a glance at her future husband while he enjoys his game and she doesn’t seem too happy with his actions, all while everyone around them is dancing and celebrating the couple’s wedding.
Many found the video funny while others considered it a sign of video game addiction gone extreme, the World Health Organization has classified video game addiction as a mental health disorder in June 2019 and added it to its International Classification of Diseases.
