Popular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel had a couple of words to say about a fellow streamer ‘InvaderVie’ after she shamed her viewers for not subscribing to her channel.

A clip of InvaderVie went viral were she was shaming her viewers for not subscribing to her. “It doesn’t matter how broke you are,” she said. “If you have time to watch Twitch, you have ten dollars, truly. If you don’t have ten dollars, you probably don’t have time to watch Twitch, because you should be working.”

Many streamers and viewers voiced their opinions against what InvaderVie said on her stream, saying that the streamer exhibits an entitlement behavior and lack of knowledge of the current global situation.

Yes, $5 might not seem like a lot of money but with the current pandemic, many people are unemployed. Some viewers live in less fortunate countries, meaning $5 to them is worth more than to someone living in a first-world country.

On April 19, while xQc was live-streaming a viewer asked him on his opinion in regards to the whole situation.

“It’s f**king brain-dead,” xQc responded. “I know we’re not allowed to talk sh*t on other partners, it’s a f**king zero-head, brain-dead f**king take, is what it is.”

xQc stated that throwing the blame on the viewer and labeling them as “greedy” is not the right call, instead, InvaderVie’s stream might be lacking in some places which isn’t pulling the viewer to subscribe, she should instead focus on the quality of her stream rather than demand subscribers.

“If you have a certain number of viewers and nobody subscribes,” he said, “maybe make a better environment then, a better stream then… better rewards, do something! It’s not because people are forgetful or greedy, it’s because your stream f**king sucks balls!”

With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many people are opting out of their subscription to their favorite streamers due to financial reasons, which is completely understandable.
