Twitch Streamer Reckful Reportedly Commits Suicide

Popular Twitch streamer and former esports professional player Byron ‘Reckful’ Bernstein reportedly died on July 2 after taking his own life.
The horrible news was shared by his ex-girlfriend BlueGoesMew on Twitter, “Yes, it’s him. He’s gone, ” they said, “I’ve been having a panic attack for an hour. I don’t know what to do.”

Reckful’s death was also confirmed by his roommate, according to fellow streamer NymN.
“No, Blue’s twitter account isn’t hacked & Byron’s roommate has confirmed it,” he tweeted. “It is true. F**k everything about this year.”

Three hours before the reports of his death, Reckful wrote, “ahh, I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with my insanity” and “please just know in these situations the insane person does not feel in control of their actions.”

Reckful’s fans were worried about his well being after the 31-year old added a series of tweets towards his ex-girlfriend, Becca, where he proposed to her.
He posted several photos of them together and asked if she would marry him, he asked those commenting on the tweet not to make her feel pressured. Reckful added that the reason for the post is, “I know she’s the one I want forever, and I wanted her to know my commitment is real”
Reckful was popular for his achievements in World of Warcraft. He finished rank one for six seasons in a row and was also the first player to reach 3000 rating. He also won Major League Gaming’s WoW tournament in 2010.
In 2018, Reckful was ranked fourth in a list of the ten most successful streamers, claiming to have a net worth of around $1.5 million.
