The internet has been in a negative uproar after the release of the trailer of the new movie Sonic The Hedgehog. The realistic design of Sonic caused a lot of the community to voice their opinions about the design showing their dislike.
The whole issue escalated when a lot of YouTubers came out and voiced that their videos criticizing the movie in a negative way got their videos demonized while reaction videos or anyone talking positively about the movie was not demonetized.
Aimée on twitter tweeted a redesigned version of Sonic showing a more similar design to the original one. The tweet got a lot of positive comments with people preferring the fan made one over the original.
The movie seemed like it’s going to be a train wreck that until Jeff Fowler, director and one of the executive producers of the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog movie tweeted the following:

Hope is not lost as Paramount and Sega have listened to the community, taking it under consideration and will be fixing the design, in the hopes that the new one is what the fans wish to see.
