According to a report by market analyst Sensor Tower, mobile users have spent more than 39 billion dollars in the first half of 2019, that’s up 15.4% compared to last years fist half.

The Apple App Store made about $25.5 billion while Google Play Store made $14.2 billion.

Mobile games earned $29 Billion across all platforms, up 11.3% from the same period last year.

The game Honor of kings by Tencent is still making most money and holding onto the first spot, bringing in $728 million, not including the revenue from China’s third-party Android stores.

Game downloads have increased to 20.1 billion downloads during the first half of 2019. That is up 3.2% from the same time in 2018.

This proves that gaming is moving towards mobile at a fast rate, which shows why a lot of companies, including Blizzard, have shifted their focus into the mobile platform.
