Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa has been unbanned after accidentally exposing a little too much of herself live on stream, which led to the suspension of her Twitch account.
On September 8th, while live streaming, Amouranth was laying down on the floor while she played with her dog. As she sat up her shorts accidentally revealed a little too much to her viewers, breaking Twitch’s terms of service.
Twitch suspended Amouranth’s account after 12 hours, leaving her fans wondering how long will their streamer’s suspension last.
Three days later, Twitch lifted the suspension on Amouranth’s account, she later posted a video of her in a cage with a label on it “Twitch Jail”, “The last two days have been kind of ruff.” she wrote.
In the Video she opened the door and crawled out of the cage. “I’m free, oh finally, freedom!” she said.
Questions started to rise on why Amouranth’s suspension period is short compared to other streamers that will receive harsher punishment that can go up to 30 days, especially that Amouranth constantly toeing the line when it comes to her content being appropriate and getting away with it.
It’s well known that popular Twitch streamers do receive special treatment from Twitch’s moderation team, and Amouranth is a popular streamer in the “Just Chatting” section on Twitch, well known for her ASMR content and seductive attire.
In addition, streamer BadBunny’s suspension lasted a period of three days after a similar Twitch TOS violation.
